Day 1: Arrival at Sofia airport. A transfer to a 3-or 4-star hotel in Sofia. Dinner.

Day 2: After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Sofia. Lunch at a local restaurant. Departure for the Rila Monastery. Dinner and overnight stay at a 3-or 4-star hotel there.

Day 3: After breakfast a tour of the Rila Monastery. Departure for the town of Bansko. On the way a stopover in Blagoevgrad for lunch and a visit to the "Varosha" ethnographic complex. Arrival in Bansko for dinner and overnight stay at a 3-or 4-star hotel.

Day 4: After breakfast, a trip to the village of Dobersko to visit the 15th century church of "St.St.Theodor Tiron and Theodor Stratilat", with unique frescos and mural paintings. Back to Bansko for lunch in a local tavern in the atmosphere of local songs and dances. Departure for the second largest city in Bulgaria, Plovdiv. Dinner and overnight stay at a a 3-or 4-star hotel.

Day 5: After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Plovdiv - the "Old Town" and the Roman Amphitheatre. Departure for the town of Bourgas. Dinner and an overnight stay at the 3-star "Bulgaria" hotel.

Day 6: After breakfast departure to the town of Shoumen. On the way a stopover in museum-town of Nessebur, and a visit to Sunny Beach, the biggest seaside resort in Bulgaria. Lunch in the town of Varna. Arrival in the town of Shoumen for dinner and overnight at the 4-star "Shoumen" hotel.

Day 7: After breakfast, a visit to "Tombul" Mosque - 18th century, a panorama tour of the town, and departure to the former capital of Bulgaria, Veliko Turnovo. Lunch and tour of the museum village of Arbanassi. Arrival in Veliko Turnovo, accommodation at a a 3-or 4-star hotel. A tour of the town, featuring the historic places of the mediaeval capital. After dinner, an optional tour of the unique performance "Light and Sound" in Tsarevets.

Day 8: After breakfast, departure to Sofia. On the way a visit to Kilifarevo Monastery, Bozhentsi - an unique museum-village, and the Ethnographic complex of Etura. Arrival in Sofia, accommodation at a 3-or 4-star hotel. Gala-dinner at a folkstyle restaurant.

Day 9: After breakfast leisure time. Lunch, transfer to Sofia airport.
